Ma peinture est influencée d’une part par l’art informel et par les arts rupestes et de l’autre par les courants du début du XX tel le fauvisme et l’expressionnisme. « Agacée » par l’ abstrait à tout prix, il est important pour moi qu’il reste une présence de réalité dans mes toiles. Régulièrement je reprends le dessin, des ébauches et croquis de façon très libre, et sensible sur les thèmes qui m’ont toujours inspiré : chevaux , visages et portraits …M’inspirant de ces travaux exploratoires préalables, ou partant d’une situation réelle j’imagine des formes en travaillant avec différents médias et outils et en laissant libre cours à l’imprévu.. Souvent je retravaille ces formes pour leur donner des allures de corps , qui sont parfois déformés pour exprimer l’idée de mouvement…

I often rework these shapes to make them look like bodies, which are sometimes distorted to express the idea of movement…
